Text Pad Crash

Thumbs down Text Pad Crash

Hi,

I'm finding that if Text Pad contains more than about two lines of text then "send" fails to work, and PocketCloud crashes completely, so I have to restart the app and log in again. This looks like a problem where the keys are being emulated at a quicker rate than the receiving system can handle, but the problem is not handled gracefully.

Is this a known problem, and if so is there a fix in progress?
If no fix is readily available, it might be worth looking at integration with the Windows clipboard, which some competing apps support and would be consistent with how Remote Desktop works between PCs.

I've just reproduced the problem, with a different application under Windows. Answers below:

1) What version of Windows are you running?
XP SP3
2) Are you connecting through a Automatic or Manual connection?
Manual
3) What device are you using?
iPad 64G 3G
4) What do you mean "send" fails?
The iPad app crashes. When I restart the connection the PC app has received only part of the text, maybe none at all. I have reproduced the problem with several PC apps.
5) Are you connecting via Wi-Fi or 3G when this issue occurs?

Please investigate further

We are looking into implementing copy/paste support but do not have a time frame for when that will be done.

Same issue. Xp sp3. Automatic connection. Wifi. iPad 2. Trying to send more than a line or so from the text pad to any windows application crashes pocket cloud. Wifi is a ClearSpot 4G.

I just tested and was not able to reproduce.

1) What version of Windows are you running?
2) Are you connecting through a Automatic or Manual connection?
3) What device are you using?
4) What do you mean "send" fails?
5) Are you connecting via Wi-Fi or 3G when this issue occurs?

We are looking into implementing copy/paste support but do not have a time frame for when that will be done.
