If customer needs only RMA for mouse+keyboard do we have to ship the unit too?

If customer needs only RMA for mouse+keyboard do we have to ship the unit too?

Hi everyone, this is my first visit here.
We have customer that needs to request RMA for mouse + keyboard only.
I used to open RMA and ship the defected unit.
But this time we only need new mouse + keyboard, the unit is still inwarranty.

Do we need to ship the unit? Or just fill in RMA and checked request mouse + keyboard?

Thanks you very much in advanced as we have to give them answer shortly.

No, you only need to send the affected parts.

Only send the parts you need replaced, otherwise you might not get them back. When I send a unit back I only send what is broken. Haven't had the problem with Wyse, but other venders have been known to only return the broken component and if you send other peices you might find yourself missing something when you go to put it back into service.
