C10LE WTOS terminal name ping reply.
C10LE WTOS terminal name ping reply.
HI,
I have an observation related to C10LE WTOS that When I ping the IP of C10LE ThinClient from different machine I get the ping reply, but when I Ping the same C10LE thinClient with its Terminal name I dont get the reply. Please let me know the possibility of pinging the ThinClient with its Terminal Name.

When pinging any device with the IP address, it goes directly to the device with the specified address. When using the terminal name or the FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name), the request goes to the DNS server for translation to the corresponding IP address and it then gets passed to the device. If you do not get a response form the device using Terminal Name or FQDN, then you have a DNS issue.
