XPS 8950, left angle sata cable for 2nd 3.5 hard drive
Will the 18” sata cable with left angle for a 2nd hard drive be long enough to reach the motherboard in the Dell XPS 8950 desktop, or will I need a 30” cable?

assuming you plan to install the 2nd 3.5" HDD in the left upper corner of chassis, you need an extra long cable that is about 75 cm long (given the chassis is 37 cm x 43 cm) or 30". Dell has a cable like that.
