XPS 8700, graphics card upgrade
Kind of a noob when it comes to upgrading hardware. Just upgraded from Bios A10 to A13. What do i have to do to upgrade my GPU? I currently have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750TI and want to upgrade to somewhere in the 1060 to 1080 range without having to do a complete overhaul. Here are the rest of my specs.

The power supply in your 8700 is a 460W and if you don't want to replace the PSU then the GTX 1060 will be fine. The requirements for the 1060 are a 400W PSU. You will require a 6 pin (on some models 8 pin) adapter if you don't have the plug already on your PSU. But that adapter usually comes with the graphics card. The 6 GB and 3 GB versions of the card are very similar but for maximum performance choose the 6 GB card which has more CUDA cores. To save money and still get great performance go with the 3 GB card.

So this GPU will work with my current motherboard and I don't have to upgrade my power supply? And if that is the case, can you recommend a GPU installation tutorial video?

I am also in the middle of upgrading my GPU on a 8700, & want to stress that you need to measure the space inside the PC before you buy. I was looking at the GTX 1060, but have not yet found one that will fit as it needs to be shorter than ~165mm in my setup. The GTX 1050 Ti is not as good, but a couple of brands have 1050 minis around 145mm or so.
But your setup may have more clearance than mine. Check it out first.
