New XPS 8940 - Memory Upgrade - Thank You!
New XPS 8490 with Intel i7 CPU. It has 2 x 8GB. I had some credit left over after the purchase, so I just ordered this:
Dell Memory Upgrade - 16GB - 2Rx8 DDR4 UDIMM 3200MHz
A bit after the fact, but Dell support has yet to return my email.
Thanks in advance!

@Lamf77 This is mainly a user-to-user forum so we can't help you with sales issues.
So you have 2x 8GB now, and you're planning to add 1x 16GB.
With this config, RAM is unlikely to run in dual-channel because that requires a pair of matched modules in slots with the same color retention clips. In your config, one slot will be empty and RAM will probably run in single-channel mode which is somewhat slower and less efficient than dual-channel...

I may be mistaken. But what I ordered were 2x8 GB? This isn't two 8GB sticks?

The page you linked says "Storage Capacity 16GB".
2Rx8 DDR4 means "dual rank", not that you're getting 2x 8 GB modules. You'd better contact Dell Sales to discuss. You would want two 8 GB UDIMM modules.
Also note that 4x 8 GB is not a listed RAM config in this PC model, but that's probably because Dell just didn't test/validate that config, but likely 4x 8 GB will work...
