XPS 8930, how to enable Miracast SOLVED
EDIT: Never mind. It was my mistake. I normally have my computer connected to my router using a direct cable connection. I needed to turn WiFi on in order to use Miracast. It worked great then. Show me as being embarrassed.
I want to have my Samsung S21 FE screen mirrored or cast to my Dell XPS 8930 computer.
When I run dxdiag, on my computer, it says " Miracast: Available, with HDCP".
However, when I go into my Windows 10 22H2 settings for "Projecting to this PC", it says "This device doesn't support receiving Miracast, so you can't project to it wirelessly". When I try to run the Connect app on my computer, I get the same message.
Does anyone know how I can make my computer support Miracast? Is there a driver update needed? A setting somewhere?
I am on the latest BIOS available for the XPS 8930.
Thanks,
Bill
