Upgrading T5500 CPU to X5687 and GPU to RX580 (won't boot)

I also do not have the original CPU or hardrive,  I should have the orginal Quadro graphics card. 

Hi Thanks for trying to help.  The T5500 has no on board graphics, so If I take the GPU out of it, I have nowhere to connect the screen.

xeon x5687 , that fasted 4 core xeon that fits this PC, seems ok. that. (IDK for sure)

when changing out any GPU card, disable the old one in Device manager first.

why not do the upgrade serially and not all at once?

are you saying all fans are dead.? all of BIOS is dead,and F2 and F12 keys all DEAD at power on?

do the long reset first.

remove the RX580 and go back to where it was? \ no before stated, nor if you have correct video cable plugged i n to RX58

If BIOS wakes up (always a first goal)  then in F2  hot key go to BIOS set to defaults.

then do F12, after power on reboot again, and pick the DRIVE that is your boot drive now.

if that works , change thee boot order in BIOS.

if all this fails, take the PC to MINIMUM system. even all sata ports unplugged. get BIOS screens working first.

put back the old video card, make sure the new Xeon works first.?

new BIOS, version , using freedos burn.

new CPU 2nd and reset BIOS in F2 screen, if fails, you bent CPU pins?

And another thingy...Do you know if the motherboard battery is any good?

And have you tried clearing BIOS after making all these hardware changes?

1. Power off, unplug
2. Press/hold power button for ~15 sec
3. Open case and remove motherboard battery (check Service Manual for details)
4. Press/hold power button for ~30 sec
5. Install (fresh) battery
6. Close up and connect mouse, monitor and keyboard
7. Reboot

Error codes for the Precision T5500 are here.  Beep codes come in groups of 3 beeps, so there's no beep code listed as 2-1. The closest  would be 2-1-1 = 1st 64 K RAM chip or data line failure - bit 0. (And there's no 1-1-1 code listed either.)

Do you get any of the Pre-POST or POST diagnostic LED codes that are listed on that page?

There are 2 PCI-e x16 video card slots on the motherboard. Have you tried putting the card in the other slot, and made sure it's seated correctly, fully? Does this card require an extra power connection directly from the PSU?

Do we know this motherboard and version of BIOS support the CPU you installed?

5500 does not have UEFI bios so any R series card or Nvidia RTX series is not ever working.
