XPS 8700, upgrade to Radeon RX 580?
I have been wanting to switch out the GPU on my 8700. I have been wanting to switch in a Radeon RX 580. Is this a suitable choice?

I completed this build with a CX750 and a Sapphire RX 580 this weekend. Everything seems to be operating smoothly so far. I would recommend the modular CX650 as it was tight squeeze with the modular CX750.

I doubt our 460w PSU will suffice. The Radeon RX 580 requires at least a 500w PSU. Check out the Corsair CX500.

Did this work? I am looking to make the same upgrade. I'm looking at Corsair CX 650, 5.9 x 3.38 x 5.51 in.
