XPS 8910, GPU upgrade, GeForce GTX 1050

I have an XPS 8910 computer with a Nvidia GeForce 750 Ti video card. As far as I can determine the desktop has a XF40J PSU which I believe to be a 430w power supply. I want to update the graphics card with maybe a Nvidia GeForce 1050 Ti or something around $200-$250 which will be a direct replacement requiring no other component upgrades.  Is there a maximum graphics card length that I need to stay within so it will fit in the XPS 8910? Can I use a dual fan graphics card or do I need restrict my choice to a single fan? Can anyone verify this update will work with no issues and no power supply replacement?

I used an XFX RX480 8GB for a little over a year with the default 460w power supply, but it did seem to be limited when overclocking, as the power limit was restricted to +20 and anything over +15 would cause the system to shut down, which I assume was from it pulling too much power. Being that the 1050ti is only 75W TDP vs the RX 480's 150W that I had, which I think in reality was pulling much more than it should have, you should be fine. Plus DELL-Chris M  gives good advice.

I just upgraded the power supply in my Dell XPS 8910 to a EVGA Supernova 1000 G+ (I know overkill but they were out off all the others and it was on sale). It fit perfectly in the same spot as the factory one, which was ery cool! Only thing is ,I cant shut the side panel all the way, until I get some 90degree SATA power cords for the HDD, or maybe upgrade to a SSD or M.2 Drive and I need a power plug for the CD ROM.

Some pictures of my upgrade in process...

XF40J is not appearing as a Dell part number? The XPS 8910 shipped with the following PSU =
J98H5 460w, Delta
WC1T4 460w, Huntkey
DM1RW 460w Acbel
PK61K 460w, Acbel
XD17F 350w Acbel
15D8R 350w, Liteon

We never tested the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 on this model of XPS. Since the 1080 worked, the 1050 should be fine. Two fans is fine. Nothing longer than 10.5". No higher than 225w. Dual slot width.

The best Dell OEM video cards that Dell validated on our OEM 460w PSU are =
RTYN6 Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Founders Edition
XHY8P MSI GeForce GTX 1080
7G1XN AMD Radeon RX 480
