CPU cooler (8930 but I believe the systems are the same dimensions).

https://www.dell.com/community/XPS-Desktops/XPS-8930-i7-8700-3rd-party-CPU-cooler/td-p/6108230.

RAM

4 DIMM slots of DDR4 2400 to a maximum of 64 GB. And it also accept 32 GB of RAM.

GPU cooler is a little trickier. Try this post for more information.

What options do I've got on the case it self for more fans to be installed?

I originally had a MSI Geforce GTX 1050 Ti OC edition that ran about 14f less than the single fan 1070 non OC edition with the fan speed at 72% on the 1050 Ti (OCing it too) and 75% on the 1070 with underclocking the memory at -88,core clock -400(max), and holding at 165f.

The 1070 card is built in it's own case with one blower fan directing the air flow straight out the back while tring to keep the heat from building up inside the whole case is my thought behind the design.

I'm using MSI afterburner while mining. What is a good constant Fahrenheit temp to keep before you burn something up or lower life extremely?

Here is a great forum post with pictures of an additional case fan. The original post really has taken noise and cooling to a whole new level.

Also a nice temp guide.

My video card recommends 16gb of memory. No recommendations on what to buy that is compatible with the dell xps 8920/i7 Model motherboard?

Read before purchasing the right drive for your needs.

Any other upgrades that people have done and tested I would like for them to be posted here.

Looking to upgrade the graphics card on my son's 8920 as well. Did you end up finding a graphics card that works well for you? TIA

I haven't updated the Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070 Founders Edition graphics card. It's in an enclosed case with one blower fan forcing the heat out the back. My original Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 TI was equipped with two regular fans in a non enclosed case that could run continuous loads with lower temps. Air flow in that case seems to be an issue(in and out). Especially, with the big graphics card.
