XPS 8930, System Firmware update 1.1.2
Updated "System Firmware" through the Device Manager to 1.1.2.
Where did this come from? It's not on the Dell update list. Once I clicked on update driver, it was too late to stop it so I let it run to completion.
I have always updated my drivers through the Device Manager, but have never had the System Firmware update before.
System seems to be running OK, but I can find no documentation for this version for the XPS 8930.

That update is not from Dell but from Microsoft. Check the MS Update catalogue page below for more information. Judging by the date, it could be due to the new 1809 update being released at any time.
