XPS 8930, black screen after reset

How I arrived at my screen is different.

Specs:

I am selling my XPS 8930 special edition (460 watts). Windows 10 Home. 256GB PCIe x4 SSD + 1TB 7200RPM HDD. 8th Generation Intel(R) Core (TM) i7-8700 6-Core Processor. (12M Cache, up to 4.6 GHz. NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) GTX 1060 with 6GB GDDR5 Graphics Memory. I did not order and have not added anything, external memory, video or graphics cards etc. I use HDMI but tried the DP (using my HDMI cables) just in case.

Since I am getting rid of it I did a secure erase as per Windows 10 site and the screen automatically went black. I assumed (hoped?) that was part of the process. I was aware that it might take a while and left it for about a day and a half. Result? Still same vis-a vis screen.

I have checked it on another monitor and checked the first monitor on another computer. Both monitors work. Tethered Dell mouse is working (light is on). Keyboard lights up (e.g. lock buttons turn on/off). I can hear the fan. Power button is white and the power supply light is stays green. The power light shuts off almost as soon as I touch it. Both monitors are Dell.

I wanted to add this to a previous post.

It is stuck on the press F12 to clear the TPM or press esc to cancel this request.
