XPS 8950, won't boot with NVMe SSD
Anybody else have any issues with NVMe SSD not allowing the XPS 8950 to boot?
Windows 11 did a BSOD and then monitor went blank. Tried lots of troubleshooting and never got anything on the screen until I removed the NVMe SSD from the motherboard then BIOS finally showed up.
Thought that it was odd that an SSD could fail so hard that it prevents the PC from even going into BIOS.
Anybody else?

Forgot to add a few other details....
When the NVMe SSD is plugged in the fans go at a constant medium speed. Not quiet and not super loud like the system is running hard but a constant medium.
Also when the SSD is plugged in when you press and hold the power button to turn off the PC the PC will turn itself back on after 3-4 seconds. The only way you can turn it off and keep it off is power cord.
Lastly...when I mentioned the PC wouldn't go into BIOS...the monitor (and I tested on a 2nd monitor too) won't even recognize output coming from the PC. They both go into standby and never even see a Dell logo on boot.

No output on the nvidia card or the onboard DP.

Was the boot order changed in the BIOS? If you have a video card, it may be necessary to use the onboard DP graphics to be able to see anything on the screen.

Have you tried a hard reset (holding the power button) while using the onboard graphics?

kras1,
Update = After completing troubleshooting, a DELL-Cares agent setup a part replacement.

Moderator is correct.
Support just informed me that it will take 5-10 business days to get a replacement SSD.
Kind of amazing since Amazon can get the same one to me tomorrow with Prime.
