xps 420 cpu upgrade assistance
I am hoping to buy a Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4Ghz Quad-Core Fsb 1066 Desktop Lga 775 Cpu Processor, the only thing is how do I choose a heat sink? From the little I have been able to gather, I should be copper which really doesn't help.
Is there a size I need, etc....?
Below are my system specs for Belarc Advisor:

Bus Clock: 1333 megahertz
BIOS: Dell Inc. A07 02/25/2009
Processor to be replaced:
2.67 gigahertz Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 8126 Megabytes Usable Installed Memory I have a 350 watt power supply. Need more info please ask. Thanks |
