Dell Dock no HDCP signal, Monitor goes blank when streaming websites are running.
I have a WD19TBS dock that I'm using with XPS 17 9700. I have two displays running at 4K 60hz. One is ASUS ProArt display and other is LG C2 OLED 42" TV.
I'm using DisplayPort on the dock to power the ASUS ProArt and Thunderbolt to HDMI adapter to output to the LG C2.
My issue is, I'm not getting HDCP to work on the LG C2. The displays work fine, but when I put on say Disney+, the LG C2 screen goes blank. After reading online, this is the HDCP disabling the LG C2, because it can't make a proper handshake.
Initially I was using this adapter: Cable Matters 48Gbps USB C to HDMI Adapter Supporting 4K 120Hz and 8K HDR - Thunderbolt 3 and Thunderbolt 4 Port Compatible. But I thought maybe the adapter isn't compatible with HDCP, so I bought another adapter: Anker USB C to HDMI Adapter (8K@60Hz or 4K@144Hz), 518 USB-C Adapter (8K HDMI).
With both these brand new adapter I experienced, the same problem of LG screen going black whenever a streaming service was turned on.
I also bought this HDMI cable: RUIPRO 8K HDMI Fiber Optic Cable CL2 Rated 40 Feet 48Gbps 8K60Hz 4K120Hz Dynamic HDR eARC HDCP2.2/2.3
After not being able to get the issue resolved, I bought another HDMI cable, and the issue was the same. So now that I have tried two different adapters and cables, I'm thinking the dock might be the issue.
