Yes, and several people have. Every XPS 15 9560 has an M.2 slot that will accept an M.2 2280 form factor SSD, either a slower SATA-based M.2 SSD or a much faster NVMe-based M.2 SSD. The XPS 15 9560s with the smaller battery additionally have a 2.5" drive bay in which you could install a 2.5" SATA SSD or spinning drive, but the ones with the larger battery do not have this bay because the larger battery occupies the space where the 2.5" drive would have gone.
