Dell XPS 15 9570 can't boot, CPU failure error
XPS 15 9570 can't boot, CPU failure after 1 week
I've just bought my laptop Dell XPS 9570. Suddenly it couldn't boot this morning, no DELL logo, no noises, only keyboard lights for a few seconds, and 2 ambers 1 white led light flashing sequence.
Things I've tried:
- Pressed the power button with 'D' => the screen popped up some solid colors background
- Unplugged the AC, waited for 1 min, pressed the power button for 8 seconds, then pressed it again =>same errors
- Pressed the power button for 25 seconds => The led light flashing for a couple of seconds => same errors
- Called warranty services, they told me this is CPU failure and need to replace motherboard
I read from many sources that the problem repeadly and randomly occur. Its not a hardware issue but just BIOS issue. That's correct?
Can we solved the problem just to find a BIOS file and reset it byself?
Thankyou.

That blink code is a CPU failure error. It is far more than a bad BIOS and yes the MB must be replaced. The old axiom is that it is never the CPU until it is. If a CPU is going to fail it usually does it as in your case, when the system is within a few weeks or so old.

No -- it is either a mainboard or CPU failure, but since the latter is soldered to the former, both need to be replaced together.
