Dell XPS 15 - D6000 Dock Monitor issues and peripheral lag
So I've got a D6000 dock for my new XPS 15 that has the 3050 TI graphics card. I connected the monitors to the dock and had some serious eye strain problems from the get-go. Experience has taught me that the gamma is typically the culprit when it comes to monitors and eye strain. HOWEVER... you cannot adjust the gamma when the monitors are feeding from the dock. Plus, I have a wireless mouse and keyboard using the dock for their dongles and I occasionally see some serious lag. I've investigated my surroundings to clear it of anything causing noise or interference (like a cell phone) but still see some serious lag issues. So my solution(s) thus far have been to get cables that connect the monitors directly to the laptop allowing me to adjust the gamma and relieve myself of the eye strain. HOWEVER... this machine has only 3 USB-C ports. I am using 2 of them for the monitors and the one for the dock... AND I STILL GET LAG! So now I've gotten a hub/dock third party type thing that allows me to connect one of the monitors and still change the gamma and plug in my dongle into that while plugging the actual laptop charger into one of the C-ports. I'm still getting occasional lag, but definitely less, I can actually charge the laptop, and I can adjust the gamma and relieve myself o the eye strain.
So, after all that... what the trap? At what point is this $2K laptop a complete waste when you can't actually use it? Is there a better dock I need to be using? Is it because it's power hungry? I understand the 6000 doesn't support the 130W, but what about the display issues? Why can't I change the Gamma? What are these lag problems? Anyone got any tips/tricks? Also... how can I make sure that the GTX 3050 TI graphics card is actually being used? I actually don't think it is.

@Jeff_the_Illuminator You are using the wrong dock
D6000 is a type C dock which doesn't use onboard GPU. You can open your device manager and you will find a display link driver under display drivers.
This dock is targeted toward those customers who only need displays for some official work. It can not handle Graphic intensive tasks and its never using the graphic processing power of your computer
You need a dock that uses your onboard GPU. : WD19TBS :
If you have only one display then you can also connect it directly to one of the three Thunderbolt ports of your machine to get what you are looking for and use the dock for rest of your peripherals.

Dell not interested in answering this? Why is the D6000 not allowing me to change the Gamma? And what exactly is using the GTX 3050 TI graphics card?

Answering this question with "you are using the wrong dock" is not a great solution.
18 months later and i am experiencing the same issue of lag simply doing office work. two dell monitors (S2721DS), into a dell D6000, into a Dell latitude 5440. the mouse movement is most noticeable. if i plug one monitor directly into the laptop, the issue goes away on that laptop only. it's nearly unbearable.
You'd think having everything part of the dell ecosystem, it wouldn't be an issue (even the keyboard and mouse is dell).
I've updated firmware on the dock, and also made sure the display link drivers are up to date.
i have even tried both USB C ports on this laptop just in case, and there was no difference.

@brad.watts Im also facing the same issue.
Have connected my Thinkpad using USB-C port to my Dell Docking Station. Whenever i run the display via the dock, it lags and stutters. But when i connect the display directly to my laptop via HDMI, it works absolutely fine. I do not use my setup for any gaming or high intensity tasks but just for office work. Did you managed to find any solution?
