Dell XPS 17 9700 Trackpad wobble issue

Question

My Dell XPS 17 9700 Trackpad is having issues AGAIN. Had it replaced a few months ago because of poor responsiveness from lower left area. I'm aware of the bulletin explaining how it works. Had all kinds of issue with drag and drop because of it. Very poor design. Dell replaced the trackpad and it had the exact same issue. Seemed about the same so I just dealt with it, using a mouse whenever possible. Now the replacement trackpad is having wobble issues. Clicking is terrible there's almost 2 clicks when you press because of the travel. When you press initially there's a lot of travel and it does like a fake click. You then press it the rest of the way for the real click. Super annoying to use. There's some youtube videos of other people with the same issue. My wobbly trackpad was fixed after tech replaced the trackpad.

Would you be able to share the videos of your trackpads? I got my 9700 a few days ago and the bottom corners on my trackpad are mushy, and the fans are almost always on even at 50 degrees/no load.

It's hard to know what's by design and what's a defect when you can't go check out floor models at best buy.

I have the same issue with wobbly trackpad and sometimes missing clicks.  The original poster says they had to trackpad replaced, @DELL-Cares how do I arrange this?  My xps 17 is still under warranty.  Thanks

Dell currently are being super helpful to resolve my trackpad wobble, looks like replacement is the only fix though.
