Dell active pen never worked properly pn579x

Question

My dell active pen pn579x has never worked properly on my dell XPS 7390 2 in 1.

I have tried every fix online including new batteries and firmware updates and nothing has resolved the stutter.

I was told to call support via email but was bounced back and fourth between customer care 10 times and no one was able to help me

I tried other pens and they worked fine.

I have tested in three environments

Ubuntu 21 LTS

Manjaro KDE

Windows 10 ( 1903 & 2004)

For Windows

I have tried all of these drivers in all possible configs

Windows Test App

Microsofts OneNote 2016/Office 365

Microsofts WhiteBoard

Linux Test App

Xournal

OneNote Online

Both AES & MPP Tested in all operating systems

Dell Active Pen PN579X persisted in all environments to random jump around the screen and move off nib centre.

I have the same issue as this gentlemen.

Bamboo Ink Plus works on my device.
