Docking XPS 15 9510 to Ultrawide
I am planning on docking my XPS 15 9510 and setting up a 34in 1440p 144hz ultrawide monitor. The XPS has a 3050 and 16gb of ram. I was wondering what sort of docking station would work best for this. I was thinking the Dell WD19TB but I do not know much about any other docking stations. Will this setup be able to adequately output to the ultrawide? Is the WD19TB overkill, or is there a cheaper option that will work just as well? I don't plan to add any more displays in the future due to the setup being confined to a dorm room desk.

If all you're doing is connecting the notebook to a single monitor (and don't need to connect other peripherals), you do not need a docking station at all -- simply connect the monitor directly to the notebook.
