Keyboard not working properly. Can I revert back to Windows 7

It seems after the latest Windows 10 updates the keyboard in my XPS15L502X (2011) has stopped typing correctly. Have uninstalled last 2 Windows 10 updates but still no good. Have added an external keyboard from my pc.

I'm not very IT and any help gratefully received. QUESTION: If I uninstall Windows 10 and go back to Windows 7 will my downloaded Microsoft 2010 Office Pro Plus still work? OPP was installed when the XPS was operating Windows 7 and from a friends additional usage allowance.

Below is what I am getting typing on the XPS

It's unlikely the operating system is the source of the keyboard malfunction.  That said, you only have a short period of time in which to revert a Windows 10 upgrade to the previous Windows installation - about 30 days.

If it's been longer than that, you'll need to manually reload Windows 7, which will mean a bare-metal installation that will require installing Office all over again.

Before going to that extreme, try a USB keyboard, or the on-screen one.  If those work, chances are the internal keyboard needs to be replaced, particularly if the issue is that only certain keys fail to function properly.

Note that Windows 7 updates for end users ceased in January, 2020, so run Windows 7 ONLY offline - do not use it on the Internet.  Beyond the security risk, there are and will increase in numbers websites that will  block access by EOL Windows 7 systems, so even if it works for now, it won't for much longer.
