XPS 13 9310 double charging
Dear Community,
I have a usb dock as well as an eGPU. Both of these devices can power the laptop.
I wonder if I can plug both at the same time or if there is a risk of bricking my device ?
Thank you !

@little-one It's completely fine. There are certain cases where this is even necessary, such as on Dell systems connected to docking stations that don't supply enough power to run the system properly. In those cases Dell has documentation specifically saying to keep the system's own AC adapter connected in addition to the power-supplying dock. The system will only end up using one anyway. In your case since you only have USB-C ports, you'll only get power via USB PD. The way the USB PD works is that the power source will only provide power if the device asks for it, so you'll never end up with the system drawing power it didn't want.
