XPS 13 9310 problems with powering on

Question

Once in rest mode or at any point when the screen has turned black, I have to hold down on the power button for about 10 seconds for the screen to turn on. Even when the screen has fallen asleep just momentarily, I have to hold down the power button until the shut down option appears. From there I have to cancel and then the screen works again. Any solutions?
