XPS 13 9365 Black Screen
Hi, I am looking for some help with my 9365. Its got the widely known Black screen issue, however after trying most of the suggested fixes, I think the system board is just bad. Here's the one thing that puzzles me. The only time i can get anything to display on the screen is by holding the D key during power up. This has the display diag test where the screen changes colors successfully. Other than that, i never see anything on the screen. No logo, no back light, nothing. Ctrl+Esc yields nothing either. IS there anything that I may have missed in trying to resurrect this device?

The fact that the screen displays properly during diagnostics only means that the laptop LCD is OK and the problem lies elsewhere. Very possibly the mainboard is bad. Are you hearing any beeps or see any lights flashing in sequence?

Nope. No beeps, no blink codes. This is why I think the board is just shot.
