XPS 13 9365 touchpad not working
Hi,
My HID complaint touch pad wasn't working and showed Code 45 in the device manager. I uninstalled it and reboot the device but it is now not showing up. I went to Dell Support to download the Intel HID Event Filter Driver and restarted the machine again but it still didn't work. Any advice will be my appreciated as it is a bit frustrating not being able to use my touchpad.
Thanks

Try to check if the following are working correctly:
1. Whether the shortcut switch is turned off
2. Whether the device is disabled
3. If reinstalling the driver is still useless, think about whether the notebook can be used after updating the system or replacing the system. If it cannot be used, you need to check whether the notebook model supports the current system.
If it still doesn't work, consider replacing with a new touchpad

@xiaomei Thanks! How do I check if the shortcut switch is turned off?
