XPS 13 9370 Loud Fan when Sleeping

Question

Hello, I have an XPS 13 9730.

The PC is upgraded to 11. When in sleep mode the fans go crazy and it appears to heat up though its supposed to be sleeping. Its loud. I have tried several fixes.

I am looking for an answer or at least confirmation that this is being worked on. Driver issue? It seems to be only an issue with XPS. I would greatly appreciate any more solutions or updates from Dell themselves. Thank You

The weird thing is that as soon as I start using the notebook so that it is no longer idle, the fan noise stops. XPS 13 9370. Windows 11. Tried all sorts of things so far: Removing Killer wireless software, cleaning air vents, adjusted energy plan. No success so far.

I have a XPS 13 9310 2-in-1 that was bought in 4/2021 that I noticed is behaving very similarly to yours recently.

BEHAVIOR:

NORMAL
When I'm using it for normal office purposes with 40 or so Chrome tabs open, it's quiet. It -may- spin the fans when I'm videoconferencing. I have P@nd0r@ running and Noise.net generator too, more or less always.

It "SLEEPS", then goes into "PANIC AT THE DISCO" mode:
When I walk away and go to lunch or anything else when I'm away from it for a significant time, could be an hour or overnight, the monitors blank and go to power standby as does the laptop screen. At some point, the fans begin to spin at full speed and it gets VERY warm.

RESUMES NORMAL on AWAKENING AND USE:
When it's in this "frantic" state, the fans are at full tilt and the device is very warm. If I then log in and wake it up and begin to use it, within 2-5 minutes the fans are off or barely audible and it begins to slowly cool off.

I'm going to install a "power/cpu" use monitor to log things and see if something is going crazy like "windows file indexing" or something.

RECENT: Upgraded to Win 11 about two months ago with some initial bugs, but all resolved with minor driver updates. I downgraded to the DELL IntelHD driver instead of the "INTEL Generic" driver without issue.

CONFIG NOTES: It is plugged into a MOKIN port replicator with 2x external HDMI monitors, USB network adapter, and a power adapter via USB 3 (C) port. MalwareBytes Pro installed.

Windows 11 turns on Bitlocker encryption by default, when Bitlocker is enabled the sleep mode does not work due to the security vulnerability. In this case you may think that the laptop is in sleep mode but it is actually running with the the display turned off.
