XPS 13 9370 battery failure
Good day! I would like to share my experience about the XPS 13- 9370 Laptop. My laptop which is a year old had an orange flash on it all of sudden, after some research, it was revealed that the battery has died and should be replaced. In fact, I was dissatisfied with battery life as the best performance was up to 2 hours (while other branded laptops' batteries, even for cheaper prices, lasted significantly more). Since the battery performance was poor, I was checking battery settings frequently to make sure that everything is ok; however, I did not see any warning about low performance or damage of the battery. Even now, when it is plugged in and shows 79%, there is no notification about a battery problem. It is quite disappointing experience for me, as I have been using Dell Laptops during last 10 years and was satisfied with their performances. Before purchasing my laptop, I had a big dilemma between Mac and Dell laptops because all my friends recommended me to go with Mac Models. Now, I really regret about my choice because my friends' Macs' battery lasts at least 10 hours, despite their ages 5+ years, while my new laptop’s battery with poor performance, 2 hours, has ‘passed away’ ( I confess that it has stunning screen but in no way this should be a pretext!) . After googling and reading so many complaints about this issue, I understood that it is quite a common problem of this generation computers even after 2-3 months. How come, Dell, a Giant computer technology may neglect these complaints, and not offering any solution for the issue of customers. Is it a purposeful error to force people to purchase a new batter for collecting more money? After spending a fortune on this laptop, I am extremely unsatisfied and frustrated to lose my time and cash to order a new battery from overseas!
