XPS 13 9380 wifi slow + unstable

Hi, I've got a personal laptop (XPS 13 9380, wifi adapter Killer 1435) and a work laptop (Latitude 7390, wifi adapter Intel AC 8265). Latitude easily hits 500 mbps download speeds, whilst XPS can't get above 200 mbps, even when it's right next to the router. Additionally, the XPS drops connection regularly (for 1-2 mins). Very disappointed about this performance, coming from a top model. How can this be fixed?

No solutions? Did I drop £1200 on a bad quality laptop?

Just curious, do you have Smartbyte installed and enabled? If so uninstall it and disable it in Task Manager under Startup. Also only have the driver installed for the Killer card. Uninstall all the other Killer software.

Thanks for your comment JOcean.

Didn't have smartbyte. Uninstalled all Killer software and re-installed the latest driver, didn't help.

Given the lack of solutions I understand it was a mistake to buy a Dell laptop, lesson learned.
