XPS 13, other Linux that works better?
Does anyone have a reasonable Linux flavor besides Ubuntu running on a newer XPS 13, and have it work?
I can't tell if the computer is a pos or if it's the OS. I'm running the stock Ubuntu from Dell, and everything has just been junk, I don't think I've seen something this terrible. Support has which, since I have the paid "Pro Support Plus" (aka "Waste of Money") is a bummer. They've tried to help, but ti's not been very good, and shoots, this is a work computer, I can't tell my boss "hey, spent half of the week trying to figure out BIOS updates because I bought a pos from DELL." I thought I was buying my way out of that problem with the "Pro Support Plus."
I can't fix the hardware, but maybe RHL 8 would run better? Right now I'm stuck with a laundry list of stuff, varying from really terrible external monitor support, all the way to the whole thing freezing and requiring a hard reboot. This thing blows.
