XPS 15 9500- Intel Turbo Boost Technology- excessive fan speed

This is my 2nd XPS laptop the first being the 13. WIth both latops I have had a problem with excessive heat and fan use.

The way I solved the problem on both occassions was to disable Turbo boost in the BIOS settings at start up using F2 access.

Can you not a generate a fix for this and implemement a software change to redulce the settings. As a end user I have no control over this, but as a supplier you expect me to pay £3000 for a Laptop that does not work as advertised. WIth the Intel Turbo Boost function set to off I lose all noise/ heat and suffer a 10% perfomrance loss.

I'm sure you are more than aware of this issue, yet you do nothing to rectify. Have you ever turned on one of your products?

I have XPS 9500 and also have problems with processor heat. The problem did not disappear after replacing the thermal paste. The only solution I found is to disable Turbo Boost in the BIOS. Please let me know if dell support gave you any solution to this problem. Thank you!
