XPS 15 9500 power vs. sleep issues
I know there have been a few threads about this, but I haven't found a solution yet, so thought I'd throw this to the community.
My laptop has had issues with draining power even when it's in Sleep mode since I got it last winter. If it's not plugged in but is in sleep, it will typically do a hardware scan upon reaching low battery, then simply close everything I had open and shut down. I have enabled Hibernate, but the exact same issue happens in that case...fans run, power drains, it shuts down if unplugged. The laptop is also always hot to the touch, even when not in use. I need this thing for Photoshop, but it often seems to overheat just using chrome. So frustrating!
Do I really have to shut this thing down every single time I want to turn it off for a few hours? Has anyone had luck figuring out this issue? Thanks in advice for advice or links!

what is the time to go to Hibernate, I can confirm there are issues with XPS 9500 9700 and some inspiron models with Sleep. However Hibernation is a tested workaround
Mine is set to 20 minuets.
