XPS 15 9560 Not Correctly Recognizing New 97 wh Battery (Originally 56 wh Battery)
I recently upgraded my XPS 15 9560's 56 wh battery to a 97 wh battery, and the battery is technically working perfectly; the battery lasts as long as a 97 wh battery should. The computer reads the battery and remaining battery life correctly until it reaches around 50%, in which it will drop to around 6%. The laptop, however, does not die because the battery still has power, so it remains at 0% until the battery actually drops to 0%. I suspect that the Dell bios still thinks that I have the 56 wh battery installed instead of the 97 wh battery, but I haven't a clue as to how to fix this problem.

Welcome to the Dell Community @Keonikun
Disconnect the AC adapter.
Disconnect the battery.
Connect the AC adapter.
Power-on the laptop and start tapping the "F2" key and enter the BIOS.
Reset BIOS to "Default" settings.
Save and exit letting the system boot to Windows.
Shutdown "Not Restart"
Then power-on and boot to Windows again.
Shutdown "Not Restart"
Then connect the battery and boot.
Test and let us know how things go???

@U2CAMEB4ME is there any option to change battery type in setting, from 56 to 97
