XPS 15-9570, cannot install the BIOS update
Same issue but now going into August with this. Unfortunately I cannot claim ignorance of issues with Dell XPS 15; wretched garbage laptop and I have already had the motherboard replaced. This was "brand new" when I purchased it! And still I cannot install an "urgent" BIOS update. The calls to "Premium Support" serve no purpose but added stress. And in one case, a lost hard drive because of their incompetence. Never ever again. This is the last time I suffer through owning a laptop from this manufacturer.

Based on your public and private messages, we have to ask, do you want us to troubleshoot the issue with you using this DCF (Dell Community Forum) channel?
