XPS 15 9570, not using GTX 1050 Ti

Streaming with OBS studio gives me an usage of 100% of the internal intel gpu and 0% of the nvidia gtx1050ti. I've been searching on the web for solutions to this, and I have tried everything: drivers upgrades, manual settings on nvidia panel and obs. Tryed getting in touch with dell's "tech support" ,but, they were more interested in getteing me to pay 100$ to see IF they could find a solution to my problems, than actually troubleshoot or telling me if this was a normal behaviour, what might be the problem or if this model's owner report this kind of issues often, still havent find the solution, any thoughts?

Bear in mind this is a MUXless (software-controlled) hybrid video system -- ALL video data, even if processed by the nVIdia GPU, passes to the display panel through the Intel GPU.  There is no physical connection between the nVidia GPU and the internal display panel.

There is no "workaroud" that you're looking for - this is how the system is designed to function.  If you've set the application to run with the nVidia GPU through the Optimus control panel, it will -- but the Intel GPU will always be the active one as far as the operating system is concerned, for the reasons just stated.
