XPS 9370 and 9380 fan problems
Hey,
so my girlfriend has a 9370 and I have a 9370 and both are facing fan problems. Even when we do almost nothing, fans turn on and are extremely loud and annoying, this has to be a bug! A friend told me it's the hardware DELL is using for their WIFI module, is that true? Apparently it's an issue for years now, why isn't DELL fixing it?

Try dell command power manager, it reduced the sound of the fans for me when i set the profile to 'quiet'.
Personally I like to do a clean install to quickly remove any bloatware, but when I tried to do that with the 9370 it was more complicated then normal.
The drivers the 9370 requires are not in the normal Windows installer. You need to download the driver packs from the dell website and install them into the Windows install disk by mounting and editing the installation .wim(s). Dell has a windows usb creator for their products but it doesn't seem to contain the images for the 9370 yet.

Thank you so much for your help. How can I access Dell Power Manager, I installed the new driver but can't find it on my 9370?
