XPS 9500 touchpad
I've got the same loose touchpad that's been mentioned here by a few people, but having no luck getting it fixed. I reported it in July and after Dell sending a replacement palmrest that had damaged corner out of the box and still had the same loose touchpad, the following two palmrests they sent also had damaged corners! I was told over the phone that they would be sending a replacement laptop but now there is no mention of that and they keep requesting photos and videos of everything which I've provided 3 times! Clearly the tech support don't talk to each other, and they're certainly in no hurry to reply to me. When you pay top dollar for a laptop with quality issues like this and it takes 4 months with still no resolution, it's pretty disappointing, and it's frustrating to use and now the lid doesn't close fully because of the broken corner!

Dell is aware that some XPS 15 9500 customers might be experiencing an issue with their touchpad. We have identified and resolved this issue on all systems shipping in June 2020 and beyond. While functionality is not affected, it does not meet the stringent quality and experience standards we set for ourselves. Any current XPS 15 9500 customers experiencing this issue can contact Dell customer support to have it remediated.

Well, I have just received an XPS 17 9720 (2022) with a loose and rattling touchpad. So, no, Dell did not tell the truth.
