XPS 9560 Second SSD
I am soon to buy a 9560 and i was curious if i do do, whether or not i would be able to install a second ssd. I really need one, to the point i would be able to sacrifice the disk drive.

It is possible to have one m.2 drive and one 2.5" drive in the system - IF you buy the system with the 56 WHr battery.
If you buy with the larger 97 WHr battery, you can have only one M.2 drive. The battery and 2.5" drive occupy the same physical space.

Hello,
i am installing a second drive too (not a ssd though, but a 2.5" hdd) and i am noticing the write speeds are 3 times slower than they were on the same drive installed on a different computer (both running Win10 pro).
I am having writing speed issues on the xps with the stock ssd (Toshiba xg5, 256gb) too.
Write speeds on the stock ssd are 1/3 of the "up to" speed stated on Toshiba's website.
Not sure why, but you might have the same issue (loads of other users are).

So, Can a M.2 SSD with a capacity of 2TB be installed or maximum 1TB is only possible?
