XPS 9570 running to how

Hello, I just bought an XPS 9570 with the 6-core i7 processor and it is running very hot when doing semi resource intensive tasks. Is there a way I can change the fan curve on the computer to make the RPMs increase faster at a lower temperature?

Hi,

Thanks for posting.

I will be happy to assist you with the system heating issue. As the first part of troubleshooting, I’d like you to run the basic hardware diagnostics to check the hardware functionality of your system.

This video has instructions on how to run the test: dell.to/2gEuPZz After you run the test, let us know if you receive any error messages or error codes. Ensure that the laptop charger is connected while you initiate the diagnostics.

Note:- Do not run the extended memory diagnostic test.

Sorry for the late reply! It did get a GPU issue marked as "abnormal exit" in the Supportassist app and did get the motherboard for the laptop replaced under warranty.
