xps 9560 Hard Drive upgrade
I want to upgrade my hard drive to a Samsung 970 EVO plus. The installed drive is a Samsung PM961. Is the M.2 on the motherboard able to make use of the extra speed of the 970 EVO or is it limited to slower speeds. Also can anyone tell me the motherboard model. I think it has intel 175 chipset which specifies upto 64gb ram.

Please do not post your service tag number for your own security. The 970 will run at full speed and this forum post will elaborate. And it does have the 175 chipset but according to the Dell specs here and Crucial specs here, the maximum compatible RAM is 32 GB. Will 64 work? Possibly but Dell has not tested that configuration.
