Aurora R7, adding an M. 2 SSD
Hi,
My son has an Aurora R7 with an SSD (C:) and an extra drive (D:).
We're looking to add another drive for more capacity, and from the other discussions on this forum I think the advice is to get an M. 2 PCIE nvme SSD of length 80, to fit into motherboard slot 13 (?)
Assuming that's correct, would it be the case that I simply slot it in (without needing extra cables), boot up the machine and initialise/format the new drive as E:?
And if all the above is correct, are there any downsides to the above approach?
Many thanks.
