17 R3, missing drivers after format install

Reinstalled win 10  following formatting of the HD.  I appear to have a PCI device without a driver:

PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_5227&SUBSYS_07081028&REV_01\4&122d228f&0&00E6

and an unknown device: ACPI\DELLABCE\2&daba3ff&0

Any pointers on where I can get the drivers is greatly appreciated

Thanks

Phill

Found the culprits.  one was the Realtek card reader, the 2nd was the airplane mode.  Not sure why these were not found when carrying out a driver scan on the website.  @crimsom,  thank you,  your assistance helped

Hi @ninja02 welcome to this free user to user Alienware laptop discussion forum. This is not Dell Support.

Please click on Drivers & Downloads to get Dell Alienware 17 R3 drivers. Please visit Windows Device Manager and right click on top icon to search for new hardware drivers.

Hi @crimsom  Tried uninstalling, rebooting.  They are both still the same.  Nothing new has been added.

    Baffled me

Hi @ninja02 thank you for sharing update.

When unknown driver appears in Windows Device Manager, delete and Restart (not Shut Down). During Restart, Windows will automatically find and install correct driver if required, or no new driver, if unknown driver was not wanted.

For new PCIe device, it's webpage should say where to get it's drivers. Do you have a new device, or is this a false positive error?

Hi @ninja02 thank you for sharing update.

The next step is to boot into safe mode. Start your PC in safe mode in Windows (microsoft.com)

Safe mode starts Windows in a basic state, using a limited set of files and drivers. If a problem doesn't happen in safe mode, this means that default settings and basic device drivers aren't causing the issue. Observing Windows in safe mode enables you to narrow down the source of a problem, and can help you troubleshoot problems on your PC.

There are two versions of safe mode: Safe Mode and Safe Mode with Networking. Safe Mode with Networking adds the network drivers and services you'll need to access the internet and other computers on your network.
