Ok, I have seen some similar issues reported, but mine seems a bit different.

I think it was on the second week of February, the keyboard just stopped working (I am mentioning the date, just in case there is some documented update compatibility issue or something...)

Here are some of the symptoms:

1. After a reboot, the keyboard works for a while (it varies, can be seconds or a couple of minutes)

2. When I try to install a new driver or even if I click on refresh or look for new devices on the Device Manager on Windows, the keyboard works, once again, for a little while

3. From the BIOS, the keyboard works perfectly

4. From the Diagnostics tool from the Boot Menu, I can do the keyboard hardware test, and it works perfectly.

5. From the Support OS or Windows Recovery, the keyboard suffers from the same problem

6. The lights work ok. AWCC can control the lights, saves themes, etc

 

What I have tried:

1. Resetting Windows. Actually the first time, it worked for like 5 days. Then the problem came back

2. Clean Install of Windows.

3. Drivers, uninstall, reinstall, uninstall again, you name it.

4. I upgraded my SSD in December, so I tried my previous SSD (which still had fully operational Windows), and funny thing...the problem was still there

5. BIOS downgrade. So far I only could downgrade to 1.9.0. Drivers will not allow me to go to an earlier version than that.

Ok, one last detail, I think the problem started to show after a "failed Windows update" (which I get a lot after some automatics attempts at midnight).

Any ideas about this issue? Something else I might be missing?
