How to clear group file secmap entrees after turning off usermapper
I have turned off usermapper for the Celerra and cleared out the secmap cache for my id. When a new record is created, there is no entry in the secmap for the id, But there is an UID present that does not match the group file entry or the original usermapper id.

you can delete individual secmap entries with server_cifssupport
Or EMC support can delete the complete secmap
If the secmap is empty and after a connect you don't get the mappings you think you should then it isn't a secmap problem - you then need to troubleshoot your mappings
for testing purposes you can also create a new VDM plus CIFS server - since each VDM has it's own secmap you will start from scratch there
