what good is a customer number issued by a sales person, when you try to check the status of a recent order using your assigned customer number

the only response you get is "invalid customer number"

i'd appreciate any help in this area I've placed 2 additional orders since I purchased my new pc and have gotten the same message when trying to locate

both orders  when trying to utilize the order status link on your main page
