TL;DR: Repair took long time for keyboard and lcd screen, now the webcam does not work. I want compensated for the failed repair.
I started a repair request on November 1, 2020 for a keyboard issues and an lcd screen problem. I did not receive the system back until December 22nd. On December 26th I tried to use the webcam and it would not turn on. I found that after when I tilted the screen I could get it to work if it was in just the right position. After working with Dell from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM today. You know running system tests, updating, and other things that clearly would not fix the issue. I played nicely and went through the process. The system is now going back to dell for repair. My warranty runs out in 7 days. What I am I suppose to do if this comes back and does not work again? I want my warranty extended for the exuberant amount of time I have not had my laptop to use. I hope the webcam issue does not take another month! Do the right thing Dell.
