Hi,
I have setup replication between 2 PS4000.
I wanted to test accessing a replica. I have promoted a replica to a volume, enabled the relevant access by IP.
In vSphere, I have re-scanned under storage controllers and the path to this volume is there. However it shows as "Active" not "Active (I/O) liek the rest of the data stores,so I am unable to add the volume.
I guess this could be a vSphere question but thought I would try here first.
Any ideas what Im doing wrong?
Thanks

If you want to restore individual VMs, I highly recommend setting up Equallogic's Virtual Storage Manager instead of doing it manually. You can download it from the Equallogic site and it integrates with vCenter. It allows setting up replication and snapshots from within vCenter and then allows you to restore individual VMs if needed.
