I have a old MD3000 SAN that I would like to use for temporary storage.  Because the SAN will only accept certain drives (both size and firmware) we discontinued use.  I am wondering is there a way around the specific drives issue so I can just install a 1TB standard drive or a 1TB SAS drive?
