graceful shutdown of PS series eql array
Couple of questions, different but related
- is there a way to prgramatically shutdown and equallogic box?
- similarly, are there tools to gracefully shutdown both and eql array and r710s from a dell ups when there is a power outage?

Once logged into the EqualLogic support site at: https://support.equallogic.com/secure/login.aspx you should see a menu at the top, look for the menu option called “Resources”, than in the dropdown list, you should see “KnowledgeBase”.
However, here is the direct link to the KnowledgeBase (login required):
https://support.equallogic.com/support/solutions.aspx?id=1444
Once on the KB page, just search for UPS, and you should see the solution called: “ARRAY: How can I integrate my PS Series Array with my UPS?”

Is there any reason you can't post a direct link to the article in question? I don't see a search box there and searching in the page for the text "UPS" does not get me there either.

Regarding the EqualLogic array, we discuss UPS shutdown in one of our KB articles, please go to:
https://support.equallogic.com/secure/login.aspx (login required).
Once logged in, got Resources> KnowledgeBase, in the search box, type UPS. In the list of results you should see a solution called: “ARRAY: How can I integrate my PS Series Array with my UPS?”
